Let's talk more about firearms, especially prepper firearms.
This is part 2 of a 2 part series.
In this episode we will give you the five firearms for practical prepping and the reasons why.

Even if you believe firearms are not for you, listen to the whole episode. It will make you more knowledgeable, and who knows, it might help you see things differently.

First: If you believe the world is about to experience the zombie apocalypse, or a total societal colapse is about to occur and there will be marauding hordes going house to house, then AR-15s or AK-74s (semi version AK-47) is probably the first firearms you should aquire, and a ton of ammo and magazines, and a whole lot of first aid supplies.

Two questions consistently come up.
"What firearm should I buy?" and "If you could have only one firearm for SHTF what would it be?"
We'll answer both of those questions.

Our recommendations, and the order we believe they should be acquired are:

1st Is a Personal defense Handgun

  • Must Be Concealable
  • Needs to be Carried on-body
  • Needs to be Comfortable to carry
  • Need a Quality holster
  • Need a Quality gun belt for support
  • Thebeltman.net
  • Crossbreed.com
  • Gunbelts.com
  • Get some firearms training
  • Tiger McGee, ShootRight Firearms Academy

2nd Is a .22 caliber rifle

3rd Is a Pump shotgun in 12 or 20 ga

4th Is a Scoped Centerfire Bolt Action Hunting Caliber Rifle

5th Is a Defensive rifle

  • In the AR or the AK platform
  • Stock of ammo and extra magazines, cleaning kit, and gun oil

The decision to own or not own firearms is a personal choice, and we support your decision, but if you are somewhat new to firearms and you want a well rounded approach to prepper firearms, we think this is a good way to go.
